Salt is as essential to life as water

It seems that Pakistan has some of the largest salt mines in the world.

The Pakistan Mineral Development Company manages many functions and facilities, including five salt mine sites. There are tourist facilities at the Kewra Salt Mines (KSM) located 160 km from Islamabad.
