Volleyball

The International School of Islamabad participates in activities of the South Asia Inter-School Association (SAISA). These activities include competitions in visual art, music, and largely in sports. This year I will be coaching the ISOI boys volleyball team as they train to compete in the SAISA tournament hosted this year by the Lincoln School.

I have played the various forms of volleyball (ex. indoor, outdoor, beach, and wallyball) but not in serious competition. Now, it's time to step up and bring my leadership, wrestling coaching experience, and limited volleyball experience to bear in order to develop a half-way serious team which enjoys the sport and will travel to Kathmandu in September.

I am looking forward to working with these students outside of class as well as to working with two new teachers serving as our school's athletic director and girls volleyball coach.
